Built for This
You can bend. Just don't break.
Welcome! Take a look around and explore the resources available to you as you navigate where mental health meets faith. It is our hope that we provide you with education, motivation, inspiration, and tools to find and maintain your journey of recovery, whether it is depression, anxiety, ptsd, or any other treatable form of mental illness. We are a team of advocates, consumers, mental health educators and counseling professionals.
Faith is a huge part of the support we give through peer to peer mentoring, coaching, and training. As you become a part of our community, we want to continue the conversation of mental illness recovery with faith as a major part in faith communities and churches across the World.
Healing is ours and it can come at the intersection of where Mental Health meets Faith. Let us walk with you in this journey.
Thank you Built for This and KaCey Venning for being our mental health advocate and subject matter expert on Talk Show Tuesdays. Built for This is the organization that everyone needs to connect with in order to bridge the gap between faith and mental health and to help people open up and ask for the help they need.

This was the first line of the book "Wrestling With Peace by KaCey Venning
In her book, Kacey talks about marrying your faith and mental health. So far, the words I have read seem to be speaking to me as if I wrote them myself... Lol.
If you're a Christian who is struggling with #mentalillness and you are confused about how you can believe in God and seek professional help or take medication for your #mentalhealth THIS is a book you NEED to read...
